John Norris Ray – aka JNR
Award winning writer, producer, and director based in Houston, Texas. He is the president of JNR Productions; a company he founded to support his own ambitions in writing and producing independent films. John and his company have become recognized for its active support of fellow writers, directors, and producers in the independent film industry. John has served as an investor/executive producer on numerous film projects in multiple countries. John’s personal accomplishments include earning over 90 festival awards for his films and screenplays.
John retired in 2024 from a US based, national fund-raising company, where he was its founder and Chief Executive Officer. John is married and has three adult children. He lives with his wife and two Chinese crested hairless dogs. John and his wife are avid travelers having been to 60+ countries together. John is a veteran of the US Army and a Cancer Survivor.
